A promise from the studio

No two pieces alike. Every one stands behind us.

Clayform is brand new, so instead of fake reviews — here's exactly what you can expect when a box lands at your door.

01

Hand-inspected before it ships

Every mug and bowl gets a final check at the wheel, the kiln, and the packing bench. If it isn't shelf-worthy, it doesn't leave the studio.

02

Arrives intact, or we remake it

Packed in molded pulp and double-boxed. If anything cracks in transit, we replace it from the next firing — on us.

03

Made to be used, not displayed

Lead-free glaze. Microwave and dishwasher safe. Built for morning coffee, late-night ramen, everything between.

From clay to cupboard

Four hands.
Fourteen days.
One mug.

Every piece moves through the same slow rhythm — wedged, thrown, trimmed, bisque-fired, glazed, then fired again at 2,200°F. Nothing is rushed, because nothing about this craft can be.

Drink-tested by us, every morning

If we wouldn't use it daily, we don't list it.

  1. Step 01

    Thrown on the wheel

Stoneware clay is wedged by hand and pulled into form on the wheel. Each mug takes about 20 minutes to throw, trim, and pull a handle for.

  2. Step 02

    Bisque + glaze fire

Two firings, ten days apart. The second one — a 2,200°F glaze fire — is what gives our work its glassy, food-safe finish.

  3. Step 03

    Lead-free glazes

We mix our own glazes from raw minerals — no commercial colorants, no lead, no cadmium. Safe for coffee, soup, anything you eat or drink.

  4. Step 04

    Packed to survive the post

Molded pulp cradles, recycled kraft, double-boxed. We've shipped hundreds of test packages — the survival rate is what gets a piece on the site.

Limited firings, limited stock

Find the mug you'll reach for every morning.

Each batch is small. When a piece is gone, it's gone — the next one will be subtly, deliberately different.
